I like this more than I should. The phrase 'finding x' comes full circle not just as a joke response to every math problem from algebra, but also as a literal interpretation personifying every kid's academic experience when solving for abstract variables.

Now show us how 1 finds √ (-2).

This clip was funnier than I expected it to be. Nice job.

This was amazing. Sure, the not every aspect was my cup of tea, but the execution was incredible.

This deserves 5 stars for how well the end surprised me (I didn't think the 'shit' would be so literal and certainly didn't expect the fan to eat it). You deserve these 5 stars because of your effort and because it's the least I can do considering the version you posted to YouTube is probably demonetized.

This project is interesting. The musical composition and sound successfully enhanced the setting, the colors and lighting effects were also good, and the execution of your whole composition more than sufficiently made my skin crawl. The animation cycles on the foot could be improved though, and I feel your project's title should be 'Dystopic Rooms' instead of 'Dystopia Room,' but to each their own.

This looks pretty good. Your method is easy to follow, and the resulting leaves are fantastic. It there was anything that could be changed, it would be to call this a time-lapse tutorial instead of a stop motion tutorial. Wires could have been also added to the main twigs to better emulate a small scale tree that was more fleshed out, but this is a proof of concept, so no big deal.

I don't do this often but here it goes:

The level of detail was adequate for the artistic task at hand and the effort you put into this meant the award for daily second place was well deserved. I get this strange feeling that your emphasis on color was inspired by artists on tumblr (i.e. colored lips cheeks, etc) which should not be a big deal, but perhaps the tumblr vibe didn't jive with me since it's been overused. Work on rendering objects like the violins at multiple angles to get the right perspective at multiple transitional angles like the ones found in the video and you should be good to go. The leaf's rendering was impeccable, but its timing and soundtrack cues were lacking. Keep practicing, your work is appreciated.

zephyo responds:

thanks for the advice! :) I don't use tumblr except for posting my art; it's a common concept, monochrome with a splash of one color. Can you elaborate on the angles? Were they inconsistent throughout the frames? And I'm not very good with sound, I just put some uncopyrighted music i found online lol.

What you just published epitomized what I dreamed of doing for a good portion of my life. It's a stunning and beautiful composition that took my breath away, an animation reminiscent of Studio Ghilbi productions that brings new life into animation by articulating modern issues using original representations of timeless symbols of nature and humanity. I hope for the best for you, so that you may realize the full potential of your prowess and embark us on a journey that will bring us closer toward realizing who we are and our purpose in this world.

I appreciate your talent for coming up with catchy tunes, and it's nice to finally see that you didn't need to mention any toilet humor in order to make your work original.

koit responds:

:) - Every now and again, I have to take a break from the filth.

Why is this not on the main page? It's funny and deserves more recognition.
